“Preparing Your Loved Ones” Series: Trustee, Personal Representative/Executor

May 10 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm CDT

Trustees, personal representatives, and/or executors play a very significant role in carrying out a legacy plan and honoring its owner’s wishes. But even if someone wants to honor the legacy of their loved one to the best of their ability, these can be confusing and time-consuming roles to step into.

During this free, one-hour webinar, we’ll give an overview of some basic estate lingo and what it means to be named a trustee or personal representative/executor. We’ll go over the differences between these terms, the basic responsibilities of each one, and how an estate and/or probate process typically works. We’ll leave you with some resources and places to look if you get stuck along the way…even if you don’t end up taking on this role until decades from now! This will be a helpful session for anyone who’s been named a trustee or personal representative/executor in an estate plan…or anyone who just wants to learn more about what these roles are about.

Hosted by the Apex team and a panel of local legal, healthcare, and family services professionals.
