Special Needs Trusts: Protecting Vulnerable Heirs
June 10 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm CDTFree
Families do incredible things to protect and celebrate a child who has special needs. They make their homes accessible. They stop at nothing to get the best care and educational resources available. And yet, many families don’t provide adequately for their child through their estate. During this one-hour webinar, we’ll explain the ins and outs of Special Needs Trusts, which can be incorporated into a legacy plan for the express purpose of meeting a child’s unique long-term needs relating to a disability, health condition, or even an addiction. They’re tax-efficient, broad enough to fit almost any future scenario, and can also significantly benefit a nonprofit or multiple nonprofits in the long-term. We’ll share resources and practical ideas for talking about, and setting up, these kinds of trusts.
